SOS PLUS is one more way SOS provides total orthopedic care to the Central New York community. A walk-in clinic for urgent orthopedic injuries, SOS PLUS treats patients of all ages with acute* orthopedic conditions requiring immediate attention. Patients are promptly diagnosed and treated at the walk-in clinic, avoiding costly and unnecessary visits to the emergency room.

SOS PLUS after hours clinic is an orthopedic service available to you for new injuries or an increase in symptoms for an existing injury or condition. Patients who have already been provided with an appointment for this specific condition with one of our specialists, and would like to be seen sooner, please contact our office during normal business hours to inquire about getting a sooner appointment.

SOS PLUS treats medical conditions that need prompt attention, but are not life-threatening.

Devoted exclusively to the treatment of non-emergency, orthopedic injuries, such as closed fractures, sprains, sports injuries or recently painful, swollen joints, it is staffed by certified physician assistants and nurse practitioners who specialize in orthopedic injuries and work with SOS board certified physicians who are available for necessary consultations.
